   @iwojima @silverpill It should be in the FEP responsible for portable objects, but I have my doubts it will be ever implemented anywhere but Mitra. Pleroma devs aren't interested in any form of interoperability, Gleason fucked off to Nostr, Mastodon does its own corporate thing, etc.

     @mint @iwojima Yes, the idea is described in FEP-ef61. With FEP-ef61 your account can exist simultaneously on multiple servers, so in theory you can use your onion account but create a clearnet clone which will be automatically synced with your onion.

     Yeah, I have doubts as well. It's not only Mitra though, portable objects are also being implemented in Streams. There were a couple of other interested developers but all of them disappeared / burned out.

     Generally, there is a significant interest in data portability in Fediverse, but nobody knows that solution already exists. So the success of this endeavor largely depends on promotion.
