I think I solved the puzzle actually. It's an oversocialization issue. The laid-back posters remain laid back because they aren't as plugged into/invested in the clout/social economy. Sure, they'll pass the shibboleths and the shit tests and whatever else, but they aren't hypersensitive to it. They haven't bought into the same seige mentality
