   Someone in the comments section mentioned "gatekeeping" in the context of MtG getting less and less about Magic and more about featuring non-Magic IPs. I guess it could not be helped if Magic's creative team has been dried up for the past decade or so. Hasbro isn't helping either because all they want is profits despite churning out substandard product at an overwhelming rate.

     The LGBT-themed Secret Lair Drop that they released way back is the least of their problems. At least that particular SLD still was well within Magic IP territory.
