   @Omega_Variant If you're a Christian referring to them as LGBTQ people you're doing it wrong. They're people who shouldn't be defined by their sins, but by their redemption in Jesus Christ. Accepting a framing that's inherently hostile to a Christian understanding of sexuality undermines the faith.

     Today the priest said sin is especially a problem when people stay in sin. There is nothing Christian about enabling, accepting, or encouraging sin. A Christian’s duty is to help people abandon their sins. This is why people who hate Christians try to humiliate the faithful by making them treat sin as acceptable.

It was never even a honest dialogue, because faggots giving up poop sex was never on the table, only the churches were expected to compromise, despite having the moral high ground.

     Q: do you realize that it creates a hostile environment, chasing gay people away, when you allow children's plays but not foam parties at your churches? You're kinda saying that breeder scum matter more to you than gay orgies do.
     A: sure. And yes, families matter to me than gay orgies do.
     
     I've never witnesses one of these "dialogues" but I imagine it's just a bad actor (internal to church) walking another bad actor (external to church) through a sob story for the congregation.
