     @Tuba @rmader @sonny btw just as a performance baseline, this is youtube in chromium scrolling on the same machine, arguably with more stuff going on, and there are no stuttering issues

     @liaizon no, it's rendering related, but with css you can turn off certain things like shadows, unnecessary background fills etc

     @liaizon gtk is styled with css, a bit similar to html
