Even if you have signed the hospital will approach them and ask for their consent. If they say no the organ donor teams may push but they will ultimately back down rather than risk bad press

     I stopped being an organ donor when I learned how much goes to israel or israeli citizens, and how they will let organ donors die at higher rates in many ERs if you're young and healthy (straight from an ER nurse, who was NOT an organ donor)
