@amorphisbear First, just because you might feel that you lack a certain skill set doesn't make you stupid. It just means that you don't currently have that particular skill set. Sometimes the reason for this might be how it's being conveyed or taught. I haven't visited that particular Web site but it's possible that it's been designed for people already familiar with the topic and so teaching that topic to a beginner might not be its purpose. It's possible that a teacher who could explain things in a specific way might help to make the topic make sense. Even if that turns out not to be the case that's OK. Your value as a human being is not dependent on how well you know a particular scripting language. I would bet you know a lot of things that others might be struggling with that for you might seem so easy. You surely have skills and talents that you use to benefit others. You likely have skills and abilities that I don't have. You might have skills that are easy for you but with which I might really be struggling. You definitely are not stupid. Do what you're good at and share that talent with others.

Brittany et al (amorphisbear@dragonscave.space)'s status on Monday, 27-Feb-2023 03:22:50 JST Brittany et al I truly do wish I was one of the blind people who have the kind of brain to understand such technical stuff as the matrix.org website Iwas just looking at. It went right over my head really quickly. I will never be technically minded, and I guess that's okay, but I hate feeling so stupid while other people seem to get it and can wax poetic about all kinds of stuff like about scripting languages and technology and programming that I will never get.
