@maija @ceo_of_monoeye_dating imagine a a proper, slow roast barbecue restaurant. Now imagine a confectionary store that sells self branded goods that must be sold by end of that day or tossed. Now a tiny hardware/outdoor store. Now an arcade. And finally imagine a fancy vending machine area with absurdly higher end machines than you'd typically see anywhere. Got all that?
Now line all those stores up and give them an open floor plan. And all the while the staff are checking on you and ensuring the place is clean and well stocked. Buccees is what every store in the US could be if we hadn't let boomers ship in shitskins en mass for the kikes

@ceo_of_monoeye_dating @maija Sounds like a small road-side town all owned by a furry-logo conglomerate :akko_wtf2:

@maija Basically, they have cheap gas, reasonably clean bathrooms, as many kinds of jerky as you can imagine, decent barbecue, and an absurd variety of snacks for the road. They rely on brand advertising heavily, so half of the store is dedicated to a gift shop which is shitty and gay, but people buy things from it anyway because they buy into the memes. Even so, the half of the store that caters to travelers is excellent and is an automatic stop during the night for me if I happen to pass it.
The only things they don't have - which I think they should - are parking spots for semitrucks and showers.

@maija You're a euro so it's actually kind of hard to explain.
If you've ever been inside a trucker rest stop, imagine that but the size of a wal-mart and massively improved.
