     @matrix what even is it with Wargaming and Russian hackers.
     Someone logged into my account a while ago as well. Do they not have anything better to do than try to steal video game accounts?

     @juliangro They want old accounts that they can either sell if they have a lot of stuff in them or to use them for cheats as old spotless accounts are less suspicious

     It's also big on social media because aged accounts are the same but also have prestige and followers. You can find websites selling Twitter accounts like this. Before Elon Musk tookover, bluechecked accounts were worth a shitload and so were accounts with followers. Some were hacked, some were people selling them off for spare change.
     
     Sam Hyde did this, first on Twitter with the handle wigger and now on Insta with the handle SNL.
