     @MechaSilvio @coolboymew First it was the Final Season (aka Season 4). Then they had to extend it, but they couldn't walk back the Final Season part, so it became Final Season, Part 2. And now we have the Final Season Part 3, Part 1.
     
     Either they always planned to milk the shit out of the Final Season hype (which was complicated by the manga ending turning out to be one of the worst ever written) or they just sucked at planning.
     
     Season 4, Season 5, AoT the Movie Part 1 and AoT the Movie Part 2 would have made much more sense naming-wise.

     Totally avoidable by calling these Season 5, 6, etc

     I hate part 1 and 2. If it stops airing, it's a new season, even if it's the same production. It's just a complete eyesore and Mappa really outdone themselves here with the titles

     Authors seem to forget that tragedies, while sad, are still entertaining and enjoyable, think of cyperpunk for a recent enough show, Breaking bad, you name it
     
     Recently I finished Iron Blooded orphans and the author did the same as AOT, when suddenly human trafficking magnate pedophiles and blood thirsty cabals thrive over the valiant heroes because... Well because "maybe you shouldn't go through so much trouble to change things" completely wasting the audience's time

     Season 1 and 2 are awesome but it suffers the same fate as AOT in the sense that it ends before it's actual ending
     
     Season two should have ended with McGillis (whatever his name is) taking over HQ, the rest is just nonsense, it's even worse than nonsense it's moralistic nonsense

     Though that might have just been a larger trend at the time.
     Akame Ga Kill and Attack on Titan seemed like the first anime to capitalize on the "Games of Thrones" effect of killing characters and people ate that shit up when it first started happening.

     Oh I super recommend unicorn, I understand why the MC could be seen as whiny, but I still think it's a great Gundam the best one I've seen next to the good parts of Iron Blooded and above CCA

     It was shit, I also felt it completely disrespected both the gundam and its pilot making them trivial non factors, plus Bael gets absolutely not enough time on camera, it's completely missing from the last battle and you're just supposed to believe it's powerful while it does nothing of importance
