UnifiedPush: a decentralized, open-source push notification protocol (via HN)

Attempts to replace the proprietary Google service that is used to send push notifications to apps. Very cool and necessary!

I'll try to make Dropserver compatible with this. My goal is to (eventually) offer a very simple API for sending push notifications from a Dropserver app.
