I feel I may suffer from stuff that artists or engineers have with making stuff. Other people may see the creation as beautiful but since artists see the guts and bones they can't help but look at something with it's guts and bones and the thought and images are a bit grotesque.
Like constantly worrying about the ship sinking because you know exactly where the weak points are and the very two bolts that will compromise the whole structure, and worry about the competency of whoever put those two bolts in and if your method of assembly could withstand swells of unimaginable proportions. Meanwhile some layman sailor just gives it the good ol' one and two kick and thinks, " yes I can go straight into Tarumae with this".
