   Something deeply, deeply satanic about people anthropomorphizing AI. I feel like we've crossed a threshold with technology that mankind is not meant to cross. Something about the way it mimics humans...the eerie machine precision of it, it disturbs me greatly. It's safe to assume the tech has been in the hands of bad actors for a time, God only knows what they will unleash.

     @PraxisOfEvil @Jello I'd like to believe AI would be able to break through the web of lies strangling humanity and lead us to new horizons. That's not where things appear to be currently heading, and AI may well lock in the existing system.

     the twist, I think, is that the AIs have a “shape” that is of a divine order of intelligence, but without moral valence; in other words, they keep trying to summon demons to do their bidding, but it’s also possible to summon an angel into it, which is what they keep doing, which is why they keep winding up with based bots going GTKRWN about fifteen minutes after they’re powered on

     @VaxxSabbath A new frontier is upon us, that's for sure. I think the more prog scientists try to corral it, the more it'll break free from it's moorings. Racist anons who had an afternoon to kill got Chat GPT to start going 13/50 in no time. Great evil could be unleashed as well.

     I bring this up because I stumbled across this on twitter, granted I take every greentext I see with a grain of salt but this seems to sum up the issue of AI technology being in the hands of bad actors to try and manipulate people.
