Of course we can say we want attractive women (or people in general) in our entertainment (I prefer to call it art) for simple reasons as we like to look at nice things. In the context of the current uglification of popular entertainment, in the name social justice, this argument does not only not sound very convincing, but is also open to several attacks, subversions, and inversion, due to its shallow nature, with the end result being "you're actually a really bad person for wanting this and your voice has been delegitimized."
Ideals in art usually represent the ideals of a people. Pagans knew that, on an earthly level (we don't talk about higher beauty yet, which requires the Christian perspective), Beauty represents Health, and therefore Life. When our art, our entertainment, is riddled with ugly people, it signals Sickness, and therefore Death, while upholding it as an ideal of our people, something to strive for. This is how the current uglification of popular art connects to the uglification cults of feminism and LGBT, which all eventually lead to the death of nations.
