Anyone else in a #software consultancy or an independent #programmer and thinking through what to do about #GitLab's increasing determination to extract money?

We have long suggested GitLab for most @agaric clients because it is in part (but decreasingly?) #OpenSource and, well, you could do pretty much everything on the free plan.

That is being clawed back, and user-based pricing gets expensive fast. From $0 to nearly $3K/year for a project with 12–14 people able to casually participate.
