   I saw a Gentoo Joshua post the other day. Were still out here. Sad some stayed on the Mastodork side. I talked to SSV recently and he said alot of bad shit was going on in his life, I hope hes doing okay. I've sure had my ups and downs boy let me tell, but for the most part I'm doing okay, my van is driving like shit though, fuel pump or filter issue, very frustating because I'm not a car person but I don't have alot of spare money. Thinking about picking up a 2nd job, just part time something in the morning.

     Yeah it still drives, but it's operating like shit so I need to do something. Was thinking an extra source of income would solve a lot of others problems too (just starting to get low margins after bills). I have gear head friends that will help me fix it and I can give them some money.

     I've only ever fixed a lawnmower engine so grain of salt, but a filter is as easy as removal and replacement isn't it? Unless you're van is post 2012 or so when they really started ramping up their assault on right to repair.
     
     A fuel pump also sounds like a relatively simple fix, just find one that fits your engine. I have a few local repair shops (that I hope to god stay open), and I just ask them can you get me this part and they are happy to oblige me. For like 50% extra or so I can have it installed to but never anything as serious as a car engine.
