   trying to get a spreadsheet done... Why are all these stupid software modifying any of my input. When I write "0" I want "0" , if I would like a "-" I would type "-" ???

   When will we have a spreadsheet software for researchers, these stupid functions made for secretaries are making me crazy, so crazy I have to write a post here to let some energy out...

     Not helping. I do not want '0 this would break everything, I want 0 tobe 0, because 0 is a valid number.
     Ido not want to spent another 10 minutes testing wether' -' will be correctly exported as 0 in a csv file or need to test spreadsheets tobe sure that no one entered' - ' i stead of 0.

     My question stands, why why why does the software change my valid number entry?
