   Welcome to Day 4 of the first "Biggest Faggot on Fediverse" Tournament! #FaggotTourney
   
   First, the updates:
   
   -Maija won their match against graf as expected. It was not particularly close, but I didn't realize how much of a gap there was until I actually sat down and counted: 24 to 10. That one felt closer to me than it actually was. :awoo_sweat:
   
   -The dark horse, CSB, came out of nowhere with a GIGANTIC pile of support from NAS! And by "GIGANTIC pile of support" I mean that almost everyone from NAS came out to call him a giant fucking faggot! In between his locked account, refusal to interact with everyone openly, and *persistent* DM'ing of the Tournament Organizer asking to be removed from the tournament, CSB propelled himself into a stunning 29 to 12 lead over...a well known and LITERAL troon!
   
   -Today's matches are Soy Magnus vs. Meso and Ratposter vs. Mer. Except for Meso, these are all people who nominated themselves! :ayaya: Yes, today is a very different day: the competitors are actively trying to win the title of "biggest faggot"! Due to this unexpected twist, I'm imposing a NEW RULE:
   
   3*) Account holders who have nominated themselves may not vote for themselves!
   
   Last, the rules:
   
   1) There's no built-in poll. I will make a thread for each match: reply with the name of the person you want to vote for in that thread. The thread will be open for approximately 24 hours, and I will of course be lenient on this.
   2) In order for your vote to be counted as eligible, you must have been on an instance federating with bae.st since January 2024.
   3) Account holders may not vote against themselves! Furthermore, account holders who have nominated themselves (Ratposter, Soy Magnus, Mer) may not vote for themselves!
   4) Known alts are discarded when discovered, and the offender's votes are all removed!
   
   Failure to follow these rules will cause me to mute you for the duration of the tournament - invalidating your votes for the remainder of the tournament!

     @ceo_of_monoeye_dating @Witch_Hunter_Siegfired the majority of the instances poast has defederated from are instances I never want to see.

     and for the others, you can just have alternative accounts.

     @Witch_Hunter_Siegfired There's a lot of old stories, and the time to hear them is when you've explored fedi enough that you decide to head to another instance from poast. I wouldn't worry about it much right now, but what you really need to know is that he's slowly cheesed off a bunch of people away from poast by defederating from them, and so all of the people who are actually mad at him are people you can't see.

     My take on this:
     So far everyone who has made it into the quarterfinals is undeniably a big faggot.
     Except for Quarterfinals 4 (Ratposter is a very strong favorite), each of those matches will be very close.
     There's a clear theme for the Quarterfinals: "Is the bigger faggot the person who has the most sex with men, or is the bigger faggot the guy who causes the most problems?" Ponypanda, Tomato, and Maija represent the "actual homosexuals" camp, while Dread, Trevor, and CSB represent the "causes actual problems" camp. These matches may largely come down to that philosophical difference of what it means to be a "faggot," and so it's really hard to determine who goes through each match.
