     the worst offender was when i blocked someone,
     
     and then a bot mentioned me announcing publically that i had blocked them and was coping and seething
     
     something like that
     
     that actually did mess with me. it's like the person on the street decided not to leave you alone when you stopped talking to them so they shouted to the whole street instead towards you
     
     anyways, i blocked that bot too. it was mortifying but also extremely pathetic :blobcatgoogly:

     Dealing with them on Fedi is simple, block entire servers of people who do that.

     that said, if you "cope and seethe" people because you feel victorious you become invalid as a human being. you can throw the entire person away.
     
     …which really just means i realised the argument has jumped the shark and i'm going to block you. not out of spite. you're just so obnoxious and irrational that you don't feel like an actual person anymore, you're more like a fly that won't get out of the house.

     @AlgorithmWolf @ink8 prior instances with these people had something called the leaderboard, wherein the number of people who blocked you and also the instances that had the most blocking users were displayed
     but i didnt want to set up that script so i have a blockbot, but its private
