   People are really only having this argument now to prove they read the Bible by dropping verses that you know their gnarled fingers hastily searched for in Google a tab over, when it comes to the opposition here who are in the wrong.

   There is only one prerequisite to save your eternal soul, just one. And it's a lot more difficult to keep to than just getting your head dunked underwater. I myself haven't even been baptized, haven't considered it. But it doesn't mean I'm further away from Salvation.

   It came down to a decision I made in what has been inarguably the singlehanded most trying part of my life.

     It is a recommendation but not a requisite for salvation.
     
     Think about the thief nailed to the cross next to the Lord Jesus. He believed and accepted.
     
     Baptism is a statement. Not a stamp you need for entry
