   @Raptorrrr Kiwi copaganda is a bit different in this regard... Though one episode did appear to feel the need to remind us, in a B plot, about the shows it's riffing against.

     I hate #Copaganda TV shows so much, lmao. The "hero cops" spend half of every single episode *breaking their own dumbass rules.*

     "The only way I can save the day is by disobeying these direct orders from my captain, because the rules and the system are unjust and prevent me from properly doing my job and being the good guy but also I will never remotely question the existence of those rules and systems. And at the end of the day the captain will just roll his eyes, pat me on the back, and go break his own rules by not filing an incident report about my misconduct."

     (I know "rules for thee and not for me" is one of the most basic plays by anyone with power, but I still find it hilarious that these civilian copaganda script writers keep putting it in there without noticing. That bootlicker brainwashing, man)
