Every day I keep seeing more and more videos about people complaining about either software companies doing absolutely wrong things, or videogame companies doing absolutely wrong things, or tech companies doing absolutely wrong things... I mean, the algorithm is probably feeding me those in a big dose, but this is a lot of complaints.
I think this people needs to connect the dots in order to see the big picture here. It's not that videogames are worse than before, or tech companies were worse than before, etc etc. It's literally everything. Literally.
I think I commented about this some time ago, but I am suspecting, and I'm most likely in the right track, that our society has stalled due to corporate overgrown. Our corpos have grown to such extent and are hogging so much wealth, that they are basically leaving our society with absolutely no capacity to innovate and produce new and better stuff.
And this is why you see a lot of "buzzwords" nowadays, and companies trying the impossible to push those into the market forcefully. It's not like this is a new practice, but it definitely has become a lot more predatory over the last decades. They simply don't have anything worth selling so they are essentially pushing air into the market as a way to overinflate the value of their services and products. Making them push shitty products and services into the market that ends disappointing everyone in the end.
Simply put, they don't have anything to offer anymore. They are just trying their best to leech money from the world. Like massive cosmic sized leeches sucking the entire wealth of our society. And it's not really a new problem. The fate of our society was sealed least two decades ago.
