     @rlier23 When Japan slammed its borders shut during the pandemic, Kyoto got to take a breath because without the net-negative foreign tourists making the place shitty and overcrowded, the Japanese domestic tourists came back. The foreign press ignored this and ran wall-to-wall "KYOTO TOTALLY DYING WITHOUT CONSTANT FORCEFEEDING OF NIGGERDOLLARS", naturally.
