    the new DVI cable for my projector arrived and it's MUCH beefier, at minimum 4x the girth of the other one I bought

    however it is a DVI-I cable (and I have no plans to use the analog pins) and the projector only takes DVI-D so I snipped off the four pins and widened the slot on the projector so it would plug in
