     @netdoll I mean let's be honest. I saw a good point on the Fedi and it went why hate watch something? If the game and that bothers you that much just play a game from someone with the politics that supports you. And there's plenty these days.

     @PhenomX6 Yeah exactly, even within my preferred genres, there's an inexhaustible supply at games I could keep chipping away at for my entire life before I even have to begin caring about issues of current politics relative to creators. But I'm lucky in the sense that I'm not on the 3D/AAA gravy train and prefer arcade styled design first and foremost.

     @netdoll I don't give a shit about the Hogwarts game tbh. Harry Potter never really interested me either. I'm just watching from afar how crazy it is from people harassing streamers for playing it to people playing it acting like it's the biggest protest move to play some corporate game.

     @PhenomX6 My only real opinion on it is that Harry Potter is trash, AAA games are trash, your time and money are better spent elsewhere because modern AAA design is fundamentally unsound and serves to optimize to the concerns of latter-day game journalists at the expense of literally everyone and everything else, so there's no real difficulty, massive amounts of padding, and vain overtures to "cinematic experience" that are best avoided, doubly so for a world as uninspired and milquetoast lib as anything Rowling comes up with. I'd rather just stick to grinding Ketsui, thank you very much.

     I'm pretty sure it's just advertisers flirting with a new method.
     It's themes and content are in line with the corporate narrative.
     They're just saying it's x-phobic to support it instead of x-phobic to dislike it. Prolly going to see more campaigns in this vein now that they've learned from Ghostbusters & such, and probably informed by Joker.
