I swear the biggest hindrance to #UXDesign in #OpenSource is the SMALL number of people that are just openly hostile to any discussion about it. The assumptions are frustrating:
1. UX 'dumbs down' products!
2. UX is just centralized control
3. UX takes too long
I'm just trying to start a discussion and not dictate anything. Some repos don't even need UX! However, if you want to reach a more general user, then UX techniques are helpful.
We need to break down these misunderstandings!
