I don't mind Americans referencing the weight or size of stuff using weird units like corgis and baby elephants actually. Don't ask me to defend it, I just think it's cultural seasoning and that the real reason it makes you made is that you're #racist against Americans.

@Moon This specific example is a bit strange because nobody knows how much a baby elephant weighs, but at least in germany this also done all the time. Less with weights but usually with areas (always measured in football fields) or tiny things (breadth of human hairs).
