   @MischievousTomato @racs @errante There were (maybe still are) racist ideologues who believe different races of people are *literally* different species who can interbreed with each other, as opposed to a single species with minor, mostly superficial differences (especially once you get outside the heart of Africa)

     @cvnt @MischievousTomato @racs @errante Yes???? Maybe there's a caveat about how the offspring have to be fertile, but no matter which way you look at it, the polygenist argument is completely foot in mouth.
