     @mint It has a manufacturer date of October 2015. So there's a good chance that the firmware is under 11.00.

     @mint Probably what I'm going to do. In dire need of a PS2 emulation machine that I can use for my living room (broke my PS3's Blu-Ray drive cable and noBD firmware variants don't support PS2 emulation).
     
     Say, how do you turn it on? There's no visible button for it. :marseyconfused:
     EDIT: nvm figured it out, the button's just really small.

     @Forestofenchantment Never had one so can't tell. I think you don't even need Linux for that unless you want PCSX2's upscaling features, you could just inject the ISO in the emulator used for PS2 classics or something.

     @mint 9.00 and unlisted firmware consoles go for the same price on E-bay. So I'll go for that and buy a good one.
     
     Or I'll just use the money and buy an actual computer for my media center and PS2 emulation needs.
