     @nixCraft i will keep using windows 10 well past its expiry date. the way things are going, "no updates" isn't a threat, it's a relief.

     @nixCraft I side-graded to Linux. Not all my favorite software works, but I don't feel like a faceless corp is monitoring me to figure out how best to monetize my use of a computer.

     @nixCraft that is actually how I switched to Linux - when MS discontinued win7 support and upgrading from win7 to win10 bricked my laptop unbootable.

     @nixCraft I am honestly surprised they’ve gone with Windows 11 for the Copilot+PC feature set, would have thought you’d use as reason to go next version. Wondering what 12 will bring now.
