How long does Fix-A-Flat last? I just put it in and I'm still hearing faint noises of air from the tire
-
@CrustalRidge7 @CaptainFuggetaboutit @HockeyDoxie @n3f_X Bro, don't drive on that shit. Don't need to die for a few bucks. Get another wheel and tire or have that one fixed.
-
Well then if you're feeling lucky if I were you I would drive to your nearest mechanic and have them jack up your front, remove the leaking tire in question, then inspect and see if they can repair it. Though if the tire's outlook doesn't look good from your driveway you may have to call a tow truck as ridiculous as that sounds. Better for a tire to be repaired or replaced rather then your whole car after a crash.

Your spare may be a full sized tire depending on the size of the vehicle you have. That will give you full mobility without the speed and handling restrictions of a donut.
-
My donut is definitely not full sized but the tire that's currently there was bought used and isn't the right size either
-
I think I do but I can only go 30 mph on it. Which will be enough for my short City commute to work but not enough for my coming trip
-
Because I'm going to have to keep driving on it getting another one is not an option at the moment
-
Don't you have a spare?
-
Well what does it depend on
-
it depends really .... its only meant to get u to a place where u can get a new tire ... u risk having a blowout if u continue to drive on it
-
I could drive on it before the Fix-A-Flat it's only going to be stronger now. It's only a loss of three PSI per trip from work to home.
Worst case scenario I leave the car in the parking lot because it's badge access only, take an Uber to get a tire, come back and use the Jack in the trunk to swap it
