Even then it's weird. That guy was hated by thousands of people and nobody ever thought to just call and report an "anonymous drug tip"? People spend part-time-job amounts of time documenting him out of hate, but they didn't call the police because they lacked evidence?
It's actually cool to know that people respect lines like that, where they keep internet lolcow stuff online. We SHOULD keep online silliness online. But that's what I find interesting about this arrest: The guy lived away from town (IDK). Does his arrest portend a cultural shift in the lolcow game? Are watchers getting more and more puritanical as they take streaming more seriously? Why won't you see people involve the cops now that the option's been advertised to everyone?
"Oh I just wanted him to get help" gives you a shield to make life VERY real for pretty much any streamer under the sun.
