   Even then it's weird. That guy was hated by thousands of people and nobody ever thought to just call and report an "anonymous drug tip"? People spend part-time-job amounts of time documenting him out of hate, but they didn't call the police because they lacked evidence?

   It's actually cool to know that people respect lines like that, where they keep internet lolcow stuff online. We SHOULD keep online silliness online. But that's what I find interesting about this arrest: The guy lived away from town (IDK). Does his arrest portend a cultural shift in the lolcow game? Are watchers getting more and more puritanical as they take streaming more seriously? Why won't you see people involve the cops now that the option's been advertised to everyone?

   "Oh I just wanted him to get help" gives you a shield to make life VERY real for pretty much any streamer under the sun.

     @Codeki ...but I'm just extrapolating out of nowhere. Worst case scenario and all, but if this snowballs people are getting swatted pretty quick. The seal on "real life" could be broken if people just applaud this douche "getting the help he needs".

     Then again I'm not a lore guy, all my Rekieta knowledge is secondhand so I don't know what's going on.

     If he just ran into a light pole at 5 AM I'll have a lot more faith in humanity, because if people are calling this stuff in and tattling to the police to the applause of the hobby rekieta's arrest could be a watershed moment in lolcow history.

     Guess I have to wait for the details

     @WashedOutGundamPilot Ralph got called in multiple times on shit. He got called in over violating his parole. He got called in over drugs in his luggage while flying. He got called in over a beating the shit out of his wife on screen.

     The Virginia cops just didn't give a fuck. And the drugs he was mostly abusing were prescription drugs, which he did have a prescription for. Ralph should have been in jail for the next 30 years if the Virginia cops had actually been doing their fucking job.

     @Codeki So none of this stuff is much of an issue, I guess. Maybe we'll see some fireworks if his local legal system recognizes "that guy who cheered on the mass shooter kyle rittenhouse!", otherwise it's just a non issue

     @WashedOutGundamPilot He spend some time in jail for attempting to violently assault a female cop while drunk. He had several years worth of parole. Then he had a revenge porn charge for sending his homemade sex tape to his girlfriend's (at the time) ex-boyfriend.

     He was legally required to get permission from his parole officer anytime he left the state, and he left the state constantly without getting permission, and they never bothered hitting him for that. He was supposed to be sober (because he attacked a cop while drunk), and they never bothered hitting him for that.

     There was literally video of him live streaming himself committing vehicular offenses like driving down the wrong side of the road, and one-way streets the wrong direction, while drunk. . .

     They never bothered doing anything.

     All of this was reported to the Virginia police, and they just refused to do their job.

     No, Nick is well known in Minnesota because he's a lawyer. He's already complained multiple times about how quite a few of the judges rule against him for no reason just because they hate him, and he gets their rulings overturned, but it's still effort that he shouldn't have to do.

     If he gets one of those judges, they're going to beat him with that fucking law book.
