   I created a new server like an hour ago and tagged one user on spw and the new server is already being spammed by mastodon deletes and the users table has over 640 remote users.

     Mastodon must be including as:Public in to/cc of its Delete activites since otherwise there's no way to broadcast deletions without causing misdeliveries. This has also caused issues with e.g. chirp.social sending post from its porn spambot groups to the entire fedi it knows of, to the point I had to block it in nginx.

     @mint @graf @sun things like this, broadcasting every single post seen via the relay, not just local ones, or constantly polling every single user outbox for shits and giggles instead of accepting that people will never accept an open network
