     @risottobias This is what I’m building: https://codeberg.org/kitten/app, https://codeberg.org/domain/app and what I call the Small Web (https://ar.al/2020/08/07/what-is-the-small-web/ – personal web sites that are as easy to set up as signing up for an account on a centralised silo would be which communicate using a simple protocol and where your identity is your own, as guaranteed by public-key cryptography where you and you alone own the keys).

     I’d rather not talk about IndieWeb.

     @risottobias No, it’s because I’m sick and tired of their abuse and I’d like to not talk about it.

     What I’m working on isn’t ready. If developers want to play with it right now, they can. Otherwise, I’d be very happy to be left alone to code and not be drawn into IndieWeb vs Small Web conflicts.

     Please, by all means feel free to ignore what I’m making or wait until it’s ready for use but I really don’t want to discuss this topic.

     @aral okay... that last sentence seems really... standoff-ish - like you have valuable input as to why indieweb is flawed (but just don't want to say it??)

     I guess with your first bit you're trying to say "yunohost but made by me"

     the code listed includes lots of "write your own javascript" sections which seems not exactly "easy" for trying to help people self host...

     compared to "here's how to install ghost/wordpress" or "here's how to set up nextcloud" or the ever-daunting "mastodon setup"
