   Here’s his article explaining it:

   It bugs me b/c this is the kind of thing that should have preceded “the longhouse™” entering common use. Until now, I don’t know of any quick, simple, easily-sourced explanation to package up the idea. The fact they’ve generated 10,000 hours of audio content rambling about it without making a dictionary entry for their shiny new toy kinda says a lot about this sphere:

   They’re hopelessly stuck up their own ass, and take audience-building for granted. Anyone looking to expand their ‘movement’s purview would try to minimize code-speak like this, not let it fester for half a decade.

     maybe I don't recall it correctly but wasn't it just kind of a throwaway phrase in Bronze Age Mindset, just one of those things that BAP's semi aspergers brain expected everyone would get

     @Floyvid_Ninesneed I have zero idea. I’ve asked a few people before and until this week when he did that article it was a mystery. Everyone had a non-standard definition, their own weird, somewhat inaccurate interpretation of it.

     “The longhouse™ is like, when women nag you”

     “it’s like how guys simp for chicks and beg for attention”

     “it’s agrarianism, because the longhouse is an abandonment of hunting & gathering”

     All those inaccuracies make messaging impossible to catch on, and demonstrate how ineffective The Longhouse™ is at conveying an idea.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @duke @Floyvid_Ninesneed BAP is explicit in his book that his message is not for mass consumption and he apparently wrote it at the behest of his Twitter friends.
     I would expect poasties to understand the importance of jargon. Its not supposed to be easily understood by everyone who comes across it. It is meant to be opaque.

     @monsterislandcolonizer @duke @Floyvid_Ninesneed Doesn’t hold water anymore. Lomez is on a crusade to get it into common parlance, going up against CNN nerds and mainstream journos. The age of it being an in-group phrase is long gone, they want it to catch on by now.

     Everyone on our side as a true, deep problem with empathizing with normies. It’s like nobody ever takes a step outside their own mind to think “okay, how would this look to the uninitiated?” It’s a true weakness, because all these “movements” are chugging along with the same cohort of guys who lived through the 2014-2024 period learning the same lessons and graduating from their priors together. What happens when they age out of the youthful meme energy?

     This all stumbles to a halt.
