     is it true you should discharge batteries in regular water before discarding or is that one of those things boomers pick up on facebook?
     my boomer dad always does that shit then dumps the foamy residue down the drain.
     
     triggers me because he leaves it by the kitchen counter. centenarian grandma cant remember what it is and sticks her fingers in there every 5 mins. one of these days she's gonna chug jug that shit and turn blue
