@munir @m0xEE It's not even BSD, aside from some parts of miscellaneous kernel subsystems and userspace. The kernel's lineage comes from Mach-based NeXTSTEP. Even if it was, enough time has passed for it to be as different as NT from OS/2 or something. -

It's just as good as everything else if you only use simple tools like vim and your language's toolchain, if you can get past the godawful design it has now you'd be fine.
If you want Xcode, it's perfect — and it's now like you have many other options.
VSCode is as good as on any other platform. There are also native tools like Sublime Text editor that you might like, but they don't make night or day difference is you ask me. -

@mint @m0xEE I see, I tried to install freebsd on my gaming laptop and my keyboard didnt work and i wanted to experience how BSD felt likes this. -
