They made the latest mainline entry a gacha and are about to EoS it. Essentially rendering important lore into lost media

@Meemoo @markcuban I tried that game. It ran like shit so i uninstalled.
Though NieR's lore was always a mess. With the OG PS3 game most of the lore was in a Japanese exclusive artbook called Grimoire NieR. IIRC they didn't bother translating it until 2022 when Automata was all the hype.
Also they fucked up the music in the NieR 1 re-release with no option to switch to the OG soundtrack. Seriously what the fuck is it with squeenix and fucking up music in re-releases?

@Meemoo @Tamamo @markcuban I will always laugh at ffbe and khx for being good in the beginning only to fucking ruin it with broken promises, insane amount of power creep ruining the game and making the content way way way too difficult if you don't have the latest and greatest that will get replaced next week by another cloud or 2b rehash, content locking a bunch of essentials, gacha currency is scare to the point it's downright impossible to get more per month from power creep etc. Etc
