   Sam Altman suggests that instead of Universal Basic Income, there should be Universal Basic Compute, where everyone gets a share of GPT 7 computing power. But what are we supposed to do with that compute? Does it pay rent? Can I buy groceries or medicine with it?      @nixCraft I immediately thought about Bitcoin mining, which would be the basic income but with a lot of environmental problems.
