   I know it’s easy to dunk on career, libshit, koolaid women like this but it just makes me sad. They’re just following the script society gave them, they mean well enough, under a better system they’d be excellent citizens.

   Instead their course has been turned from its righteous path, their instincts perverted. I know I’m a softy, but fertility woes are always sad. It’s just a bummer how nobody ever brings this up to the kids in school when they talk about health class.      Guys need to understand that part of the allure - if not a BIG part - of women attaining higher education is that they see it as a surefire way to unlock a greater class of man. They really think that they can’t end up marrying a rich doctor unless they get an MD, because they project women’s thought processes onto men.

     That’s part of why they’re so betrayed like this. She expected life at 35 to be easy, she was supposed to walk into a room at work and see her age cohort men tripping over themselves to marry her and become a power couple. Instead, we throw away all their educational attainments and hit up the bright-eyed gal working the cashier at wendy’s

     @birdulon @RupertvonRipp @Zealist I just heard from a poor chump who lost his preferential repayment terms for his student loan since he didn’t get hired by a company/industry. I guess the deal was that he’d only have to pay a capped amount…..provided he’s with the right company

     Oops, looks like they aren’t hiring right now! Guess you owe $980 a month, chump! And you’re too educated for entry-level survival jobs!

There’s this weird type of private ones that just ass rape you because the gov doesn’t include them in the traditional college structure. When you have a company hold out its hand and guarantee you….there’s a catch. In their case it’s basically a pyramid scheme anyways

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @RupertvonRipp @Zealist I'm sympathetic to sponsorship deals where you lock yourself in to work for a company for X years or pay early termination for the transferable, generally useful training. If the company is the one backing out though because they can't hire or otherwise, fuck 'em, they should forfeit the cost, it's their problem to work out. Third parties probably muddy the waters by design for these arrangements.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot That "edge case" is usually woman who already had several children before, and was due to the fact that having previous child pushed her fertility window back further.

     This woman is just another case of spending her 20s not putting focus on finding a husband. Even if she was not doing the whole hookup culture and "casual dating" during those years, the question still remains, what was she doing all that time?

     @WashedOutGundamPilot To elaborate on the "insult," it is that I would feel taken for granted by a woman who spent her fertility window avoiding men like me in order to do whatever the hell she thought was more important than seeking a husband and starting a family. So many women claim that they want that for their future, so what is the reason to wait?

     Often, the answer is so that she can "have her fun." Which implies that she thinks quite little of her (hypothetical) future husband.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot Also, my guess would be she is looking for men near her own age. This will mean that she has limited options as most men her age are off the market, seeking younger women, or just not caring about marriage at all.

     Speaking as someone from the first group, I will say that I knew that I wanted to be married and made sure to prioritize that as soon as possible. I would be insulted by a woman who waited until her 30s to do the same, as I would ask what was she waiting for?

     This is the only question that comes to mind when I see posts like this. The women who "had it all" in their prime now left with nothing and no one.
     
     And this is them just in their 30s. Soon they'll have to turn 40, then 50, then 60 and maybe 80 and that's a really long time and I don't know how these women are planning to do that.
