   Words have meanings. Gay marriage completely severs marriage from procreation, robbing it of its traditional meaning. Destroying the meaning of a fundamental social institution while normalizing sexual deviance has catastrophic ripple effects throughout all of society.

     @hachi @ArdainianRight @ChristiJunior @toiletpaper Nope. That's not how it workd. Language is a tool to connect things in Objective Reality with abstract concepts, therefore word's meanings do not change over time, because language can't change things in Objective Reality ( what the words meaning is pointing to ). Since words can not and never will "construct" Reality, the meaning of the words can not change i.e. the meaning of the word cow will not change no matter how much time passes.

     @ArdainianRight @toiletpaper @ChristiJunior The meanings of words change over time. Marriage used to mean a man owning a women, and nobody believes in that anymore. If we can move past arranged marriages, we can also move past marriage being opposite sex only.
