I’ve always intended for baraag to be a place for artists to share their works free of censorship. That being said, I respect the right of an artist to still censor of their own volition. It could be for legal reasons due to local laws, or monetization reasons such as offering uncensored rewards to supporters.
Another reason is because misskey.io is banning individual baraag users for uncensored NSFW. I understand if any artist here chooses to censor in order to maintain interaction with them.

@satori That's an unfortunate chilling effect. But Misskey is Japanese so I guess it makes sense. Does MK block all of baraag? I hope not.

@albertdario @son_of_the_paladin I will never compromise on hosting uncensored art for as long as baraag remains online.
I just want the users here to be aware of a possible block in communication with fellow Japanese artists on misskey. If it means a lot for a baraag artist to be able to interact with them, I fully respect and understand their choice to censor so that federated services remain uninterrupted between their account here on baraag and misskey users.
