   Finally got around to getting monome grid support in the current iteration of my music software ecosystem.

   At some point, eventually, I'll get this all running on a norns. But wow things feel like they take forever to get to. Also, the scripting interface is in Lua instead of Scheme, so, superficially there's probably not much difference from the stock norns setup. oh well. I like it cuz it's mine.

     The code used to run it. Without trying too hard to be efficient or elegant, it ended up being ~150 lines of lua. And that's using the low level calls.

     It works! A little program for the grid, hastily written in Lua.

     Unlike my previous attempts, I've whittled away any "helper" abstractions to facilitate working with the monome grid easier. I'm basically just building some wrappers around libmonome. I'm not even implementing any kind of event loop thread... my thinking was I'd try to build it in Lua (blocking, single threaded) and see how far that will take me with my modest hardware.

     My hope this time is to use this explore and study interaction mechanics for the Grid, in an attempt to build meaningful sound making experiences. So, I have rapid prototyping and flexibility on my mind.
