   Glad I saw the writing on the wall when they defended slapping in sketchy anticheat to safeguard their microtransaction store. Never trust AAA game companies bros, they will always pull this shit, and the simps will always defend them. :vajra_comfy:

     Also some people are saying that, since Sony changed the PSN account FAQ to remove the reference to "not needing to have a PSN account to play PC games with crossplay", they're going to roll out the same bullshit to every Sony PC game. :vomit:

     That last point, if anything, is what's most likely to land them in hot water. Knowingly selling a product to someone that will stop working with no legal/valid means for them to resolve the problem (using VPNs or submitting false info is against PSN TOS, and therefore not a valid solution) is treading remarkably close to the line of fraud, if not outright over it. It doesn't matter how "easy" the solution is if it's not actually a solution that's within the TOS of all services involved. Considering that Sony can nuke your account (and therefore de facto ban you from the game) for violating TOS, it's really both sad and disgusting how many are just sitting on Steam going "WAOW JUST MAKE A PSN ACCOUNT YOU ENTITLED MANBABY!!! :soy_cry: ".
     
     IDK if anything will happen since it seems most of the people affected come from "problematic" countries or third world ones, and a ton are going full Nintendo fan in how they're defending this dumb shit. And then they'll sit around slack-jawed, asking "WHY VIDYA BAD NOW???? :retard: " :nacho_disgust:

     Let's say for the sake of argument that yes we all knew the integration was coming as they said it was from the start.

     That in no way shape or form excuses the fact that the community managers have been handling it horribly (at least one) and on top of that they've been selling the game in territories that do not support it without proper warnings.
