  @pomstan wasm plugins can be written in any language, and probably can be re-used by other services. Also better security due to sandboxing

  @silverpill what's the point of doing this instead of just declaring a C API and dlopen-ing shared libraries? Or even mandating Rust usage for plugins? They say that example is written in Go but Go is known to have its runtime lose much of its efficiency when compiled to WASM
