It’s astounding how many tech peeps subscribe to the “just” philosophy.

- “Just” use tokens for 2FA instead of text messages
- “Just” make people who sign up for Mastodon pick a server
- “Just” attach a URL instead of a real quote post feature that shows content inline

These are all hard or impossible things to deal with for most people.

There’s progress to make these things better, but to really solve this, tech peeps must empathize with people using their software and ditch the “justs”.
