   oh yes it talked about the infamous shit elevator shaft. Namely, in South Africa what began to happen was "ghouls" would swarm and take over the office building because it was theirs now, so the owners thought it would be a good idea to shut them out by turning off power. It didn't work because when you're from bumfuck nowhere desert you don't understand what those elevator shafts are for, so people would literally use them as toilets to shit in.
   
   The solution was to pay private armies to storm the building, throw them all out, weld the doors shut, and then rehab the buildings. Which is very South African.
   
   Another site had a blog link to a blog talking about the fall of SA in the mid 2000s with a photo gallery to back it all up.
