   Mary woke at the sound of her shirt ripping.

   "Wha... what?"

   For a moment the child was just puzzled, looking around her unfamiliar surroundings.

   "Where am I? Mommy? Daddy?"

   There was no answer. All she could hear was the slick sound of meaty tendrils moving against each other, and her own increasingly frightened breathing.

   "Don't touch, it's yucky!"

   The tentacles unwrapped the preschooler carefully, exposing her to the humid air.

   "Why... my clothes... NO! L-lemme go!!"
