@Zerglingman @Moon @anonymous The problem with IW of course, is that the game was designed around the 64mb barrier of the original Xbox, as opposed to the first which was a very heavy game when it came out originally to the point it not only struggled on many PCs but could infamously fill up your hard drive. It's worse with Deus Ex mods because you can have save file folders into the gigabytes due to how the game would save copies of the maps for each save file. This led to probably the worst problem with Deus Ex IW: the maps were no longer big and sprawling but like in the PS2 port; cramped with load areas to fit within a low RAM ceiling.
The other issue with the story was a bit harder; they tried to make a sequel to a game with 3 widely different endings so the premise with IW was to combine parts of all 3 endings into the game and then go forward so many years.
