View over a wide uninterrupted expanse of rough moorland grass. In the middle of the foreground the worn line of a path - peaty-brown earth - runs between a scattering of boulders. The route stretches on into the distance as a brighter green line of short grass against the pale yellow-green long grasses of the plateau. The path seems to go forever on. In the far distance the moor rises up further as darker green hills with isolated weathered rocks or ‘tors’ showing on the horizon. The landscape may seem bleak & desolate, but it is also beautiful. The sky is blue with fluffy white clouds.
